GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team fell to Gwyendd-Mercy College, 5-4, on Tuesday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
The duo of Bryan Bodine and Chris Brown won Neumann's only double point by an 8-6 score at first doubles. Ryan Bushbeck and Joshua McMillon fell by the slimmest margins, 9-7, at second doubles.
Brown won his first singles set, 6-4, 6-4, to remain undefeated in CSAC singles action with one match remaining. McMillon won his match at fifth singles, 6-2, 6-1. Bushbeck rounded out the Knight's point 6-0, 6-3 at sixth singles.
Andrew Raimundo put up a fight at fourth singles, but fell 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.
Neumann is 1-8 overall and 1-5 in the conference. The Knights will wrap-up their season on Saturday as they host Rosemont College at 1 p.m. It will also be senior day.
