SCRANTON, Pa. - The Neumann University women's basketball team lost to Colonial States Athletic Conference opponents Marywood University 61-55 Wednesday evening.

The Knights have found it difficult traveling on the road and getting off to a good start, but they would find themselves only down three 29-32 at halftime. The Knights went 0-11 on three point field goals for the night and gave the ball away on 27 different occasions. The Knights out rebounded the Pacers 44-31, but that would be the only statistic that the Knights would gain an advantage. The Knights would struggle from the line shooting 13-22 (59%).

Laura Scott continues to get better with each game she plays as she scored 13 points and brought down 11 rebounds. Sami Borky elevated her game by grabbing 14 rebounds and nine points. Bethany Humenik scored 11 points and had five assist.

The Knights relinquished their top spot leading the conference and dropped to 6-2, while giving the edge to Marywood with a 7-1 mark.
