GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team fell to Messiah College 73-43 on Monday evening in the first game of the Days Inn Tournament at Gettysburg College.

Colleen Hinde led the Knights with 11 points.

Messiah started the game strong, netting the first eight points and 17 of the first 20 points. The Falcons held a 42-19 lead at the half.

Messiah kept the pressure on in the second half, holding the largest lead of the game at 38 en route to the 73-43 win.

Neumann (4-6) will face Scranton tomorrow at 2:00 PM in the consolation game.
