ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team rolled to a 14 point victory, 78-64, against Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Keystone College Saturday afternoon.

Neumann moves to 9-2 in the CSAC with a convincing win over the Giants. The Five Knights notched double-figures: Sami Borcky led the Knights with 13 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. Laura Scott and Erica Marvel each netted 12 points. Bethany Humenik and College Hinde both sank 10 points. The Knights displayed a great team effort and took pride out-rebounding their opponent 55-39.

Knights took their first double-digit lead, 18-8, with 10:13 remaining in the half. Borky was dominant under the boards grabbing 10 rebounds in the first half alone. The Knights led at the intermission 35-25.

Scott was able to roll off picks and find looks around the free throw line for open looks at the basket. Borky settled in down low and battled for position as a low post threat. Humenik preserved the lead all game long with smart decision making, while remaining calm and composed on the ball. The Knights would not let the Giants creep their way back into the game and took home the 78-64 win.

The Knights are back in action at home against non-conference foe's Alvernia University on Monday for a 7 PM tip-off.
