SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team dropped in its first contest 16-5 at the University of Scranton on Monday afternoon.

Erica Crabtree and Koula Gregor each had a goal for the Knights. Sam Kotowski made 14 saves in net.

Gregor scored the game's first goal. Scranton then scored 16 straight goals spanning the 26:53 mark of the first half to the 21:50 mark of the second half.

The Knights did not go quietly and netted the game's final four goals, but they could not overcome the deficit.

Neumann (3-1) will host Hood College next Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
