ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team defeated visiting Goucher College 5-4 in non-conference play Monday afternoon.

At second doubles, Zane Buckley Todd Del Sordo came away with the only win in doubles play for the Knights, 8-5. Andrew Raimundo and Joshua McMillon fell 9-8 (7-5) at third doubles. Dustin Broom \and Bryan Bodine struggled at first doubles, 8-3.

In singles play, Bodine came out on top of second singles, 6-2, 6-3. Buckley and Del Sordo posted wins at second and third singles, both scoring 6-1, 6-2. McMillon gave Neumann the win they needed to come away with a victory by defeating fifth singles opponent Seth Manfield 6-2, 7-5.

Broom fell at first singles 6-3, 6-1. Raimundo struggled at sixth singles, falling 6-4, 6-4.

Neumann (4-6) travels to Moravian College on Thursday for another non-conference match. The match is set to begin at 4PM.
