ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team fell 5-4 to non-conference opponent Albright College Monday afternoon.
Joshua McMillon and Andrew Raimundo stole the spotlight in doubles action for the Knights, defeating the Lions 8-1. The dynamic duo continued their winning tradition at the third doubles slot. Zane Buckley and Bryan Bodine fell in first doubles 8-6. Todd Del Sordo and Stephen Moran lost a close match at second doubles with a score of 9-7.
At fourth singles, McMillon kept victory in mind as he took both games early, 6-2, 6-0. Bodine, at second singles, also came out on top with scores of 6-3, and 6-4. At sixth singles, Moran was successful as he scored 6-4, 6-2.
Buckley struggled to hang on at the first singles spot as he fell 6-2 and 6-3. At third singles, Del Sordo fell 6-1 and 6-4. Raimundo also fell 6-2, 7-5 at fifth singles.
Neumann (2-3) travels to Eastern University on 4/11 for another non-conference match-up. The match is scheduled to begin at 3PM.
