CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team dropped its final regular season match, 5-4, at Baptist Bible College on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
The Defenders opened the afternoon by sweeping doubles action. Joshua McMillon and Andrew Raimundo put up a fight at third doubles, but fell 8-5.
The Knights tried to make a comeback in singles play. Bryan Bodine took his match at second singles, 6-4, 6-1. Zane Buckley won third singles, 6-1, 6-2. At fourth singles, Todd Del Sordo won 6-1, 7-5 and McMillon took the point at fifth singles after the Defenders retired from the match.
Neumann (5-8, 4-3 CSAC) will not prepare for the CSAC Championships, starting next weekend.
