DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team opened the 2012 season with a 1-0 win at Delaware Valley College on Saturday afternoon.

Kristin Ambrose scored the game's only goal in the 23rd off an assist from Olivia Pryzbylkowski. Pryzbylkowski passed the ball to Ambrose, who then beat the Delaware Valley goalie in the low corner.

Briana King made five saves for the shutout.

The Knights will host Washington College (Md.) on Tuesday afternoon in their home opener beginning at 4:00 PM.
