GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team fell to Arcadia University 3-2 on Thursday evening on non-conference action.
The teams played a tight first half and Arcadia netted the only goal in the first 45 minutes in the 40th minute.
Arcadia took a 2-0 advantage with a goal in the 54th minute. Neumann scored two goals within a four minute span, 74th and 78th minute, to come back and tie the game at two. Casey Hagan netted the first Knight goal off an assist from Alex DeRosa. Rosie Kays converted a penalty kick for a tie game.
Arcadia scored the game-winning goal with 2:11 left in the game for the 3-2 win.
Briana King made four saves in net for Neumann.
Neumann (2-1) travels to Swarthmore on Sunday for non-conference action beginning at 1:00 PM.
