BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University women's basketball team ran away with a 93-34 win at Notre Dame University of Maryland on Wednesday evening in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest.

JoHanna Metzger notched a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Laura Scott hit 15 points and Erica Marvel notched 13. Karli Ernst pulled down 11 boards. Jessica Schlesman dished out six assists.

Neumann had the game under control from the beginning, scoring the game's first eight points. The Knights built up a double-digit lead 12 minutes into the game, 28-18, and did not relinquish the cushion the rest of the way.

The Knights defense stood tall, especially in the second half, and allowed just 14 Gator points. Neumann out rebounded Notre Dame 54-30 in the game and 24-10 on the offensive end. Twelve of the Knights spread the scoring around, hitting at least three points.

Neumann improves to 6-10 overall and 4-3 in conference action. The Knights travel to Keystone on Saturday for CSAC action beginning at 1:00 PM.
