RADNOR, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team fell at Cabrini College 65-32 on Wednesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

JoHanna Metzger led the Knights with 11 points and nine rebounds. Bethany Humenik also pulled down nine boards.

The game started out slow, with Humenik hitting the first basket 1:24 into the game. The Cavaliers answered with a three and then neither team could find the net again until 15:04 on the clock.

Cabrini scored eight straight points for an 11-2 lead after the teams found the net. Humenik hit a jumper with 11:47 on the clock for an 11-4 score and break Neumann's scoreless drought. The Cavaliers outscored the Knights 15-3 over the last eight minutes to take a 30-11 into halftime.

Cabrini continued to pad its lead in the second half and held Neumann to just three points over the final seven minutes of regulation for the 65-32 final.

Neumann (4-9, 2-3 CSAC) will host Cedar Crest on Saturday afternoon in CSAC action beginning at 1:00 PM.
