ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team defeated No. 14 Swarthmore College 1-0 on Monday evening in non-conference action.

Like the last game for the Knights, the lone goal came on a penalty kick. The Knights were fouled in the 39^th minute and were awarded a penalty kick. Brooks Skyers took the shot and found the back of the net for the 1-0 lead.

Alex Lacko made five saves in net for the shutout, including a diving save in the 54^th minute as the Garnet tried to knot the game at one. Swarthmore outshot Neumann 17-4, but could not get past the 6-4 goalie.

Neumann (9-3-2) travels to Cabrini on Thursday evening for conference action beginning at 6:30 PM.
