ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team defeated Cairn University 2-1 in double overtime on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Forty-Five seconds into the second overtime, Brooke Harvey took a shot from a close angle and the ball found its way into the back of the net. Just in case there was a rebound, Jordyn Agresta was there to make sure the ball went in the net.

After the teams played to a scoreless first half, the Highlanders broke the scoreless tie in the 55^th minute. Cairn shot the ball high and went into the net just under the crossbar.

Neumann held the pace of the game and outshot Cairn 25-5. Ashley Hawkins put one of the shots in the back of the net and tied the game at one in the 70^th minute. Hawkins sunk a cross from Sirelle Torres.

The Knights had a few chances to end the game in regulation, but the Highlanders keeper came up with some big saves.

Briana King made two saves for the Knights for the win.

Neumann (6-7-1, 5-2-1 CSAC) hosts Baptist Bible on Tuesday evening in CSAC action beginning at 6:00 PM.
