BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University women's soccer team doubled up Notre Dame of Maryland University, 2-1, on Thursday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Emily Sanders tallied twice for the Knights. Briana King made two saves in net. Neumann outshot Notre Dame 21-6.

Sanders scored the first goal just 2:47 into the game. That goal stood as the lone goal until the 51^st minute when the Gators tied the game.

Sanders then dribbled the ball around the Gator goalie in the 67^th minute to give the Knights back the lead. Neumann held off Notre Dame for the 2-1 win.

Neumann finishes the regular season 9-7-1 overall and 8-2-1 in the conference. The Knights will be the No. 3 seed and will host a first round game on Monday.
