The Knights had an exciting weekend, taking on a pair of rivals in the span of two days. The team started the weekend against the West Chester University Rams. The Knights were ready to put up a fight Friday night considering their history with West Chester. The team looked great when they took the ice and stated the game strong with two goals in the first period. Their confidence and momentum followed them the rest of the game. The score was 5-0 Knights at the end of the second, but the team did not stop there! The Knights rammed West Chester with a final score of 8-0 giving senior goalie
Ryan Davis a shutout win.
Saturday the Knights took on another tough team, Penn State Brandywine. The two teams met once already this season, where Neumann fell in a shoot out. The team was pumped up after their win Friday night, and they made it clear on the ice, picking up another shutout, 3-0.
The Knights not only step up their game on the ice this year, but they are doing great things off the ice as well. The team is volunteering with Stockings for Soldiers again this holiday season, but they can't do it without your help! The team needs your help to donate items in need. Boxes for donations can be found around Neumann University's campus (Bachmann Main Building, RAB and the Mirenda Center) as well as one located in the lobby of Ice Works Sports Complex. Help your Knights help our Soldiers. Items in need can be found at the following link: http://www.stockingsforsoldiers.org/PDF/10thAnnualFlyer.pdf
