ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team picked up an 82-49 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) win against Cedar Crest College on Wednesday evening.

Erica Marvel and JoHanna Metzger each netted 18 points. Metzger added 12 rebounds for a double-double. Latisha Johnson added 10 points. Jessica Schlesman dished out nine assists. All eight players netted at last five points in the win.

The teams stayed within arms length of each other during the first part of the game. Over a four minute span midway through the first half, Neumann went on a 17-4 run to take a four point lead and extend it to 17, 37-20. The Knights held a 41-25 lead at the half.

Neumann continued to steadily increase its lead in the second half to come away with the 82-49 win.

Neumann evens its record at 3-3 overall and 1-1 in conference action. The Knights will host Immaculata on Saturday as part of a CSAC doubleheader with the men. The women tip-off at 1 PM followed by the men at 3 PM.
