ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team rounded out the regular season with an 82-52 loss to Gwynedd-Mercy College on Wednesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Bethany Humenik led the Knights with 19 points. Laura Scott pulled down nine rebounds.

Gwynedd-Mercy took control of the game over an eight minute span when it went on a 19-3 run to take a 23-8 lead. The closest Neumann would get would be 10 points with 13 seconds left in the first half as Jessica Schlesman made two free throws.

The Griffins continued to build its lead in the second half and came away with the 82-52 win.

Neumann finishes the regular season 13-12 overall, 11-5 in the conference. The Knights will wait to see how the other teams finish up the regular season on Saturday for find out its first round fate that will take place next Monday.
