ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team picked up its fifth consecutive win with a 7-2 decision over Penn State-Brandywine on Thursday afternoon.
Neumann took two out of three points in doubles action. Jimmie Ferguson and Todd Del Sordo picked up a win at third doubles, 8-5. The duo of Stephen Moran and Travis Hall battled to an 8-6 win at second doubles.
The Knights went on to pick up five of the six points in singles action. Joel Maynard won the deciding match at third singles, 6-3, 6-2. Bryan Bodine won his match at second doubles 6-1, 6-0. Del Sordo picked up a win at fourth singles, 6-2, 6-2. At fifth singles, Moran won 8-3 in a superset. Ferguson wrapped up the matched with a 8-4 victory at sixth singles.
Neumann (6-4) heads to Baptist Bible on Saturday for conference action beginning at 2:00 PM.
