ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team defeated Keystone College 8-1 in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Friday afternoon.

Neumann started the afternoon by sweeping doubles action. Bryan Bodine and Joel Maynard took first doubles 8-3. Stephen Moran and Travis Hall won second doubles 8-0 as did the third doubles duo of Todd Del Sordo and Jimmie Ferguson.

The Knights then took five of the six points in singles action. Bodine won at second doubles 6-4, 6-3. Moran swept fifth singles 6-0, 6-0. Del Sordo won fourth singles 6-1, 6-0. Ferguson battled at sixth singles and came away with a 7-6 (7-3), 7-5 victory. Maynard wrapped up the afternoon with an 8-2 win at third singles.

“Two wins in a row is great motivation for the guys as we head to Gwynedd-Mercy tomorrow!” said Coach Chamberlain.

Neumann travels to Gwynedd-Mercy tomorrow morning for CSAC action beginning at 11 AM.
