HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Neumann University women's soccer team fell to Centenary College 2-1 on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
Alexa DeRose scored for the Knights in the 17th minute off a free kick for a 1-0 Neumann score. The Knights held the 1-0 lead at halftime.
Centenary took control in the second half and tied the game at one in the 53rd minute. The Cyclones scored the eventual game-winner in the 64th minute.
Briana King started the game in net and made six saves for the Knights. Kerry Eskay played the final seven minutes.
Neumann (1-7, 0-2 CSAC) continues CSAC action on Wednesday when it travels to Cabrini for a 4:00 PM tip-off.
