BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University women's basketball team picked up its fifth straight win with an 87-33 win against Notre Dame of Maryland University on Wednesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Erica Marvel led the Knights with 21 points. JoHanna Metzger notched a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Lauren Walker added 10 points. All 10 members on the court notched points to contribute to the win.

With the score tied at six early in the game, the Knights went on a 14-0 run and never looked back. After the Gators netted their eighth point, the Knights then scored the next 15 for a 35-8 lead. Neumann held a 49-20 lead at halftime.

The second half was much of the same as the Knights came away with the 87-33 win.

Neumann (8-6, 5-2 CSAC) returns home on Saturday to host Baptist Bible in a CSAC doubleheader with the men. The women's action gets underway at 1:00 PM.
