ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team defeated Baptist Bible College 84-33 on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Colleen Hinde led the Knights with 15 points. Erica Marvel and JoHanna Metzger each added 14 points. Metzger pulled down 11 board to notch a double-double. All 10 players contributed at least three points in the win.

With the teams tied at four, the Knights went on a 19-2 run to jump out to a 23-6 lead midway through the first half. The teams would trade baskets until halftime and Neumann held a 41-20 advantage.

Neumann began the second half on a 22-0 run over first six minutes to extend its lead to 41, 63-20. The Knights built their lead to as many as 53 in the second half and came away with the east 84-33 win.

Neumann (9-6, 6-2 CSAC) will host Gwynedd Mercy on Monday evening in CSAC action beginning at 7:00 PM.
