ECRHA - Long Island Preview

This weekend the ECRHA shifts gears from Philadelphia to Long Island. We will have all four divisions competing in this weekend's event in Bethpage. The teams attending will look to improve their seasons while some are looking to start their season off strong in their first games of the year.

In Division I, five teams will be making the trip to Bethpage. We are all looking to see a good matchup between Rowan and Northeastern on Saturday night. Northeastern began their season in Rhode Island where they grabbed two victories and Rowan, who began their season last weekend, is also coming into the game with a record of two wins and zero losses. Northeastern took the victory 4-2 in the Columbus Day Pre-Season event over Rowan. Both teams have been tested early in their season and this one should be no different.

A game that is circled on the schedule is the Division II game between Baruch and Farmingdale on Saturday at 2 PM. These two teams battled it out in the Columbus Day Pre-Season event to a 3 to 2 victory for Farmingdale. These two teams look to be some of the cream of the crop in Division II.

In Division IV eight of the nine teams will be opening their season. All of these teams are looking to open the season on a positive note to get a jump in the standings. Then in Division III we will be having four of the six teams make the trip to continue to improve on their seasons. Hofstra looks to open its season on a good note in their backyard.
