ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team blanked Centenary College 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Tonia Russo opened the scoring in the 18^th minute as she put the ball in the back of the net off a cross from Emily Sanders.

The teams would continue to play with the 1-0 score until Alexa DeRose took advantage of a direct kick. She put the ball in the top of the net over the Cyclones keepers reach in the 88^th minute.

Neumann outshot Centenary 10-4 and 4-1 on goal. Briana King made the one save needed for the shutout win.

Neumann (3-6, 3-2 CSAC) hits the road for the next three games, beginning at Immaculata next Saturday. The CSAC game gets underway at 1:00 PM.
