Men's Soccer Wraps Up CSAC Action with Perfect Record

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – The Neumann University soccer team finished its regular season with a 3-0 win over Baptist Bible in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Saturday afternoon.

The Knights started off the game hot, scoring two goals in the first three minutes. Jake McDevitt opened the scoring at the 2:49 mark off an assist from Andrew Kelly. Just 11 seconds later, Tben Donnie found the back of the net for a 2-0 lead.

Neumann netted the only goal in the second half as McDevitt scored his second goal of the contest. Jim McDowell tallied the assist.

The defense played excellent as the Knights allowed just four shots. Keeper Tim Glaccum recorded one save in over 80 minutes. Perry Corsetti did not have to make a save during his time between the pipes.

Neumann finishes the regular season 9-8-1 overall and 9-0 in CSAC action. The Knights will be the No. 1 seed in the postseason and will host a semifinal game on Thursday. The opponent will be decided after the first round games on Tuesday.
