ST. DAVID'S, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team fell 85-31 at Eastern University on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.

The Eagles took off from the start, scoring the first eight points. Jessica Schlesman got the Knights on the board with their first basket. Eastern built up its lead to 16-2 before Latisha Johnson connected on a three-pointer for a 16-5 game. The Eagles held a 47-20 lead at halftime.

The second half was much like the first with Eastern dominating and coming away with the 85-31 win.

Neumann (2-3) returns home to host Swarthmore on Wednesday evening beginning at 6:00 PM.
