ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team swept Immaculata University 9-0 to remain undefeated in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Tuesday afternoon.
The Knights opened the afternoon by taking all three doubles matches with ease. Todd Del Sordo and Stephen Moran won third doubles 8-0. At first doubles, Dustin Broom and Travis Hall won 8-2, as did Bryan Bodine and Joel Maynard did at second doubles.
Neumann continued to cruise through singles action. Maynard won fourth singles 6-0, 6-0. Del Sordo took fifth singles 6-0, 6-2. At second singles, Broom won 6-1, 6-2. Bodine took home a 6-3, 6-1 win at first singles. Moran outlasted in sixth singles, 6-2, 6-3. Hall rounded out the afternoon with an 8-1 superset win at second third.
Neumann (5-2, 3-0 CSAC) will look to keep the momentum going this weekend with two more conference matches, beginning with Cabrini on Friday afternoon.
