ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team, the No. 1 seed in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) postseason, will face No. 4 seeded Gwynedd Mercy University.

The tournament will be held at Northwood Racquet Club in Easton, Pa. The first semifinal match, between the Knights and Griffins, will begin at 10:00 AM.

The Knights went 7-0 in conference action in the regular season to clinch the No. 1 slot. Neumann defeated Gwynedd Mercy 7-2 in the meeting on April 9.

Joel Maynard won second doubles 8-1. First doubles partners Dustin Broom and Travis Hall along with third doubles duo Todd Del Sordo and Stephen Moran won their matches 8-4.

Moran won his sixth singles flight 6-1, 6-0. Del Sordo won fifth singles 6-4, 6-0. Hall took third singles 6-2, 6-2. At second singles, Broom wrapped up the match 6-4, 6-4.

Head Coach Kayla Chamberlain was named the CSAC Coach of the Year, voted on by her peers. Chamberlain's squad halted four-time defending champion Marywood University's 32-match CSAC win streak on April 13 with a narrow 5-4 triumph to complete its undefeated run through the league.

No. 2 Marywood and No. 3 Baptist Bible will face-off in the other semifinal match on Friday afternoon. The winner will meet for the CSAC Title on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
