ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team lost to Eastern University 2-0 in con-conference play Saturday afternoon.

Eastern opened the scoring the 39^th minute. On a set piece from the side of the penalty box, Eastern dished up a service that appeared to go through the Knights wall and sneak in the near post, much to the dismay of all Knights fans in attendance. The Knights could not determine if the Eagles were merely Soaring Eagles or Screaming Eagles, but a bit of both was ever present after they took a 1-0 lead.

In the late stages of the game, the 85^th minute, the Eagles continued to press for another goal.  Through their hard work and diligence the Eagles player flew past the Knights backline and innocently knocked the ball to the most inviting corner of the goal. As it turned out, the lower right corner beckoned the Eagles player and he was sure to deliver.

The Knights (0-5) host their first home game of the season against Stevenson University on Wednesday at 4:00 PM.
