READING, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team fell to Alvernia University 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.

The Knights and Crusaders played to a scoreless first half. Alvernia opened the scoring in the 59^th minute by netting two goals seven seconds.

The Crusaders capitalized on a penalty kick in the 86^th minute to seal the win.

Dan Jones made four saves in net for the Knights.

Neumann (0-7-1) will look for better results in the as it started conference action this week. The Knights travel to Immaculata on Wednesday. Action gets underway at 4:00 PM.
