LA PLUME, Pa. – The Neumann University soccer team picked up its first win of the season, 2-1, at Keystone College on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Tonia Russo put Neumann up 1-0 as she headed in a corner kick from Alexa DeRose in the 22^nd minute. As time was winding down in the first half, Nicole McAfee tapped in a pass from Ashley Hawkins with just two seconds remaining, for a 2-0 lead at halftime.

The Giants cut the Knights lead in half in the 56^th minute, but that's all Keystone would be able to get and Neumann hung on for the win.

Neumann outshot Keystone 17-4 in the game. Briana King made two saves in net for the win.

Neumann (1-6, 1-2 CSAC) hosts Notre Dame in more conference action on Tuesday beginning at 7:00 PM.
