ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team picked up a 5-1 win against Notre Dame of Maryland University in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Tuesday evening.

Emily Sanders netted two goals. Ashley Hawkins had a goal and an assist. Briana King made three saves in net.

Hawkins opened the scoring in the 22^nd minute as she tipped the ball past the Gators keeper. Sanders gave the Knights a 2-0 lead as she put the ball in the back of the net off a pass from Hawkins in the 32^nd minute.

Early in the second half, Alexa DeRose launched a ball into the air that went into the top of the net. The Gators broke onto the scoreboard in the 49^th minute as they broke down the field and beat King one-on-one. Sanders then scored the Knights fourth goal off an assist from Brooke Harvey. Mary Hebbel capped the game with her first collegiate goal in the 82^nd minute.

Neumann (2-6, 2-2 CSAC) will look for its third straight win on Saturday when it hosts Centenary. The CSAC match gets underway at 4:00 PM.
