IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Neumann University women's basketball team fell at Immaculata University, 88-51, in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Wednesday evening.

Jessica Schlesman led the Knights with nine points. Ten Knights put points on the board in the game. Ericka Smith-Sowell pulled down seven boards.

Immaculata opened the game on a 7-0 run and held a 15-5 lead five minutes into the game. The Mighty Macs continued to build on their lead, going on an 11-5 run for a 26-10 score. Sarah Roberts broke that run with a three-pointer. Immaculata took a 41-21 lead into halftime.

JoHanna Metzger connected on the first lay-up of the second half, but that was as close as the Knights would get as the Mighty Macs kept the pressure on en route to the 88-51 final.

Neumann (6-8, 3-2 CSAC) travels to Baptist Bible on Saturday to continue conference action. Tip-off is at 1:00 PM.
