SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team lost at Marywood University 75-63 on Monday night in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Jessica Schlesman led the Knights with 18 points and five assists. Sarah Roberts netted 13 and Lauren Legler added 12.

Neumann opened the game strong, going on a 23-8 run over the first nine minutes. Marywood answered with a 22-2 run to take a 30-25 advantage. Schlesman hit a jumper to end a seven minute scoreless drought for the Knights. The Pacers finished the first half off with an 8-0 run to take a 38-27 lead into the break.

The Knights began to chip away at the Pacers lead and with 11:26 left on the clock, the deficit was four, 46-42. However, the Pacers answered with a 7-2 run and continued to slowly add to the lead, making it double-digits, en route to the 75-63 victory.

Neumann (7-9, 4-3 CSAC) hosts Cabrini on Saturday in CSAC action. Action gets underway at 1:00 PM
