HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Neumann University men's soccer team fell 5-1 at Centenary College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Saturday afternoon.
Centenary opened the scoring in the fourth minute.
Andrew Kelly tied the game at one in the sixth minute off a corner kick from
Tben Donnie. The Cyclones took the lead back in the 24
th minute and added an insurance goal in the 32
nd minute for a 3-1 lead at the half.
The Cyclones would add two more goals in the second half for the 5-1 final.
The Knights outshot the Cyclones 17-16, led by Donnie and
Christian Cortese with four each.
Tim Glaccum made three saves in net in just over 80 minutes.
Perry Corsetti made one save in the final seven minutes.
Neumann (2-7-1, 1-3 CSAC) heads to Cabrini on Wednesday evening beginning at 6:30 PM.
