ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team picked up a 1-0 win against Immaculata University on a cold, rainy and windy Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play.
The lone goal came in the 81
st minute when the Knights were awarded a penalty kick.
Abu Donzo put the ball in the back of the net for the 1-0 game.
Neumann held the pace in the first half, outshooting Immaculata 7-3. It was reversed in the second half, with the Mighty Macs taking a 7-4 advantage.
Shane Smith made four saves in net, all coming in the second half.
Tben Donnie led the Knights with three shots, with one going just over the crossbar. Neumann had a 10-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Neumann (2-5-1, 1-1 CSAC) will host Cairn on Tuesday evening in conference action beginning at 7:00 PM.
