Women's Soccer Falls in 2OT in Season Finale

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University women's soccer team fell 2-1 in double overtime in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action at Notre Dame of Maryland University in the 2015 season finale Friday evening.

The two goals in regulation came within a minute of one another. The Gators found the back of the net in the 53rd minute. Alexa DeRose tied the game 43 seconds later.

Notre Dame scored the game-winner in the 105th minute.

Kristen Montgomery made seven saves in net. The Knights outshot the Gators 14-12 overall and 10-9 on goal.

Neumann finishes the season 3-13-1 overall and 3-8 in CSAC play.
