ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team fell to No. 25 Cabrini College on Wednesday evening, 95-59, in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Sarah Roberts led the team with 14 points and six assists. Jessica Schlesman contributed 10 points.

Cabrini came out with a 6-3 run in the first 2:16 of the game. Neumann would then go on a 7-3 run to take the lead 10-9 at the 15:22 mark, capped by two free throws by Schlesman. Cabrini retook the lead at the on a three-pointer and would not look back. The Cavaliers would finish the half doubling-up the Knights 34-17 to go into half time leading 43-27.

In the second half, Cabrini would continue to put the pressure on Neumann, outscoring the Knights 52-32. Neumann would bring the score within 15 at the 13:06 mark, but that was as close as the Knights would be able to get.

Neumann (10-12, 7-6 CSAC) returns home to host Marywood University in CSAC action on Saturday afternoon starting at 1:00 PM. The Knights will celebrate senior day before the game.
