ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team opened Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action by defeating Rosemont College 9-0 on Friday afternoon.
In doubles action, all three duos took their matches by 8-0 scores.
Jake Davidson and
Trevor Hoopes picked up the win at first doubles.
Zac Lazzaro and
Jordan Collins took the point at second doubles.
Andrew Wilbraham and
Shane Galante rounded out doubles action in the third slot.
The Knights remained dominate in singles action. Hoopes took first singles 6-0, 6-0, as did Lazzaro at second singles. Davidson won third singles 6-0, 6-1. Neumann wrapped up singles action with Galante (fourth), Wilbraham (fifth) and Collins (sixth) all winning 6-0, 6-0.
Neumann (1-1, 1-0 CSAC) will play its first home match tomorrow when it hosts Summit beginning at 1:00 PM.
