ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team opened its home schedule with a 9-0 loss to Summit University on Wednesday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
In doubles action, the duo of
Jake Davidson and
Trevor Hoopes battled in the first flight, but fell in the tie breaker 9-8 (7-4).
Andrew Wilbraham and
Shane Galante fought at third doubles, but dropped an 8-6 decision.
Hoopes took his first singles match to a tie breaker. After falling in the first set 6-4, he came back and won the second set 6-3, however, Hoopes could not take the final set and fell 12-10.
Neumann (1-2, 1-1 CSAC) will head to Keystone on Friday for more conference action beginning at 3:30 PM.
