LA PLUME, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team battled to a 5-4 win over Keystone College on Friday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
Zac Lazzaro and
Shane Galante won Neumann's lone point in doubles action with an 8-1 win in the second slot.
In singles action, the Knights came away with points at second through fifth flights. Lazzaro battled to a 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 win at second singles.
Jake Davidson won third singles 6-0, 6-2. Galante won his first set at fourth singles, 6-4, dropped the second set 6-4, and then won the third set 6-3 for the point.
Andrew Wilbraham wrapped up the Knights single action with a 7-5, 6-4 win at fifth singles.
Neumann (2-2, 2-1 CSAC) will host Immaculata in CSAC action on Monday afternoon. The match at Marywood, scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed.
