Courtesy of their 2015 Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union (EPRU) Tier II Championship, the Neumann University Women's Rugby Club has advanced into Tier I for the 2016-17 season. The move places the club into the EPRU's top tier against formidable opponents in Albright, Mount St. Mary's (MD), and Widener. 

The team will kick-off the 2016 fall campaign at Widener University on Saturday, September 24. The Womenw will then host Mount St. Mary's and Albright on Saturday, October 1 and Saturday, October 22 respectively.  To complete their fall campaign, the team has added a friendly versus Franklin and Marshall College on Saturday, October 15.  The contest, slated for a 11am kick-off, will join Neumann's Homecoming festivities scheduled that weekend.
