ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer suffered a 1-0 setback to Arcadia University on Wednesday evening.
The teams played to a scoreless first half, with each team tallying six shots, two on goal, in the first 45 minutes.
Arcadia picked up the pace in the second half and managed 10 shots, compared to Neumann's two. Arcadia broke through in the 59
th minute with a cross pass in front of the net. The Knights then buried the pass for the 1-0 lead.
Shane Smith made seven saves in net, including some point blank saves.
Neumann (0-3) will head to Elizabethtown in hunt for its first win of the season on Saturday evening. Action gets underway at 7:00 PM.
