ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team is set to begin its hunt for the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship in a first-round game on Monday.
 
Neumann finished conference action with a record of 6-4-1 and is locked in as the No. 5 seed. The Knights will travel to No. 4 seeded Gweynedd Mercy University on Monday. The action is slated to get underway at 7:00 PM. The other first-round match-up will feature No. 3 Cabrini University hosting No. 6 Immaculata University.
 
In the regular season meeting this season, Gweynedd pulled away with a 4-0 win against the Knights back on October 3^rd.
 
During the regular season, Anna Attardi led the Knights with six goals and 17 points. Danni Elman added five goals and Morgan Ryan and Shannon Martina both contributed four goals. Taylor Garman added a team high six assists.
 
Brittany Cullison and Kristen Montgomery both contributed in net for the Knights. Together, the provided a goals-against-average of 2.34 and combined for five shutouts.
 
Neumann finished the regular season 7-8-1 overall. The winners of the first-round games will travel to No. 1 Marywood and No. 2 Centenary on Wednesday for semifinal action.
