The National Club Basketball Association (NCBBA) recently announced that senior guard
Brihem Johnson was named the national and conference player of the week for his performance during the period ending February 12, 2017.
Johnson logged nine assists, 13 rebounds, seven steals, and an impressive 100 points in the club's three-game series versus the University of Delaware. The native of Philadelphia, PA connected on 38 of those points in the team's one-point victory (76-75) versus the Blue Hens on February 12.
The award is the second conference weekly award, after also receiving the honor for the period ending November 20. The club will conclude their inaugural NCBBA season with a three-game series at Johns Hopkins University on Sunday, March 12.
