IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team saw its four match winning streak come to an end on Tuesday afternoon, falling to Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) foe Immaculata University by a score of 5-4.
Daniel Rival was the lone Knight to win two matches on the day, prevailing at both first singles (6-0, 6-0) and first doubles with partner
Rod Bradbury (8-3).
The match would be tightly contested throughout. Despite taking a win at first doubles, the Knights would fall at both second and third doubles to fall behind 2-1 early.
Neumann responded with three wins in the singles portion of the match, but fell one win short versus the Mighty Macs, losing by a score of 5-4. Zac Lazarro (second singles) and
Jordan Collins (fifth singles) were the other Knights to pick up wins on the day.
Neumann (4-4, 4-2 CSAC) is right back on the court tomorrow for a home non-conference matchup versus Gloucester County College at 4:00 PM.
