Box Score ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team cruised to its third straight Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) win and second in as many days with a 9-0 road win over Rosemont College on Saturday afternoon.
Continuing their solid play from yesterday afternoon versus Immaculata, the Knights jumped all over the Ravens in doubles competition.
Rod Bradbury and
Jordan Collins took home a win at first doubles by a score of 8-2, while
Perry Corsetti and
Christian Cortese teamed up for a dominating 8-0 win at second doubles. Neumann picked up a win at third doubles by forfeit.
The Knights kept things rolling in singles play, taking home all six matches to claim the 9-0 win. Collins was clinical at first singles (6-4, 6-3), while Bradbury picked up a shutout at second singles (6-0, 6-0).
Evan King,
Billy Swontek and Cortese also picked up wins on the day, while the team won by forfeit at sixth singles.
Neumann (4-2, 3-1 CSAC) returns to action next Tuesday, April 10
th for a matchup with CSAC rival Gwynedd Mercy University. The home match is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
