ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team will be the No. 5 seed in the Atlantic East Conference postseason and will head to Wesley College on Saturday for a first round game.
Neumann heads into the postseason as the No. 5 seed and will face No. 4 seeded Wesley. The two teams faced-off on Wednesday in the regular season finale where the Wolverines came away with the 5-2 win.
Marlon Trejo and Zach Derosier scored for the Knights.
Seth Walker made seven saves in net.
For the season,
Ainsley Reid leads the Knights with four goals. Trejo has tallied three.
Seth Walker has spent the most in the net and has a 1.84 goals against average over 16 contests.
In the other first round game, No. 3 Marymount will host No. 6 Gwynedd Mercy. The winners will advance to the semifinals where No. 1 seeded Cabrini and No. 2 seeded Immaculata sit waiting for action on Tuesday. The winners of the semifinals games will compete of the second Atlantic East Championship next Saturday, November 9.
