Box Score ROSEMONT, Pa. - The Neumann University men's tennis team picked up its second straight win to open the 2029 season, defeating host Rosemont College by a score of 9-0 in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
The Knights dominated the match from the start, claiming wins at all three doubles matches. Neumann's three teams outscored the Ravens by a count of 24-1 in the matches.
Daniel Rival and
Jordan Collins won 8-0 at first doubles,
Evan King and
John Beck were 8-1 winners at second doubles, and
Nick Testa and
Zach Dakin picked up an 8-0 victory at third doubles.
Neumann continued to roll in singles play, as Rival (1st singles), Collins (2nd singles), Dakin (5th singles) and Testa (6th singles) all won 6-0, 6-0 in their respective matches. King (3rd singles) and Beck (4th singles) also won handily and the Knights picked up the comfortable 9-0 non-conference win to stay unbeaten.
Neumann (2-0) has a long break before opening Atlantic East Conference play on Saturday, March 30th at Immaculata University. The match is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
